SERVICE QUESTIONS

Know what to expect.

Does an individual license automatically cover my company?

Do not assume that an individual credential and a company authorization are interchangeable. The review identifies the relevant jurisdiction, company structure, and qualifying relationship before a proposed arrangement is discussed.

Can you help when our qualifier is leaving?

Tell us the jurisdiction, the proposed transition date, and the current position of the business. We identify the continuity questions and information needed to assess a possible replacement; availability and authority requirements must be confirmed.

What will I receive after the first conversation?

A defined next step: the information still needed, the scope to assess, and whether DC ConServ can assist. A qualifying engagement or application-support assignment is discussed separately.

Can you also help organize an application?

You can request application preparation and coordination support. We first confirm the correct process, required documents, who will prepare the work, and who must review or sign it. See the application-support page for the proposed service scope.

Start with the electrical scope.

Tell us whether the request concerns a new business, an existing entity, a qualifier change or work in another state. Describe the electrical work and the current licensing position. Those details help separate the qualifying arrangement from application preparation, examination and authority decisions.

Useful starting details: business structure, state, intended electrical work, current status and target dates. No confidential documents are needed for the first inquiry.

Tell us the trade, the location, and the need.

Qualifying roles differ by jurisdiction. Responsible Managing Employee (RME), Responsible Managing Officer (RMO) and qualifying agent describe roles you may encounter; their eligibility and ongoing responsibilities are not interchangeable. DC ConServ reviews the relevant trade, business structure and jurisdiction before discussing a proposed arrangement.
